So I bought a Wacom Bamboo! that's RIGHT! A pen-tool. SO I now have an old version of photo shop and a tool to use with it. I'm getting used to it this week (its taking time) my brush strokes are getting more fluid, maybe I'll have something to post soon, until then I am SO playing with my new toys. Spring hit Missouri today, maybe again tomorrow, maybe it will go back to winter, idk.

My car broke again, my step dad striped a bunch of wires and put the grounding right to my car, so now there is a bunch of wire sticking out at odd angles under my feet! Its weird and scary to drive.

My sis and I watched all of Angelic Layer in two days. I was glad to have seen it finally and she was super into the series. Have I made another otaku? She now wants to watch Card Captor Sakura 'cause I told her the same people did that one too. Oh noes?

Watching FMA again, not sure if I ever did finish it the first time through but I guess I'll find out. Pretty sure I pretended to watch while doing math or something. Speaking of which I think I'm gonna do someone from Full Metal Alchemist for my next cosplay. If I have time I'll do part of it and post pics if I can. we'll have to see if I can get a hold of a camera for that part >.> Though I did register one the other day. I put lots of good stuffs on the wedding registry!!! There is a sewing machine, and a nice desk to work on, and a digital camera!!! I hope to put up a tutorial type thing for how I made my gloves from before but i'm not sure anyone cares . I plan on doing more armor-type stuffs in the future, I've found that I like it more than sewing anyway. One of the projects on my to-do list is remaking my General Beatrix (FFIX)she has an armored arm and an awesome sword that I would try to make to go with it. Armor and other metal-type things are fun!!! I'm still researching more ways to do it too, I like learning everyone's techniques. I feel like a blacksmith!...for cosplay!

Well, that's all I have to say for now I guess. Hope I find time for more updates and maybe a friggin pic or two >.<

OMG, well i'm sooo tired now, but it was fun. The procrastination I am prone to has defeated yet another cosplay, I was to be Saber from Fate/stay night but some of the armor was missing (due to not finishing it despite staying up til 4 the night before I left)the dress was done (mostly) the gloves were done (pretty much best part, or part I was most happy about) the breastplate was done and my hair...well I never took the time to style my hair and I didn't bring a wig. You'd think I learned this about myself and preparing for cons with the Beatrix/A-con episode but NO, I lie to myself and tell myself that I have enough time!!! >.>

Despite all that, I did see some cool stuff, there were good/bad skits in the masquerade, I found someone from my anime that lead a panel later about the fate and fate/stay night anime/game/manga related to it. I learned a lot and met another holy grail war enthusiast!!! But I also met a Rin that didn't seem to recognise the main character from the show she was cosplaying from! /cry

Bah, other than that stuff the dealer's room, (while small) had some neat things, got a fig of some gundam captain or something, and what did I walk away from the dealer's room with? KITTY EARS! Blue ones with white inside the ear part. I wore them all con long and almost went to sleep with them til I was made to take em off *sniff* probably going to wear them all the time at cons or while making cosplay related items.

Videos, Yeah for the first time ever my face was caught on video thaks to bringing a camera, check out for a link to her youtube, you'll find me wandering in the background and cheating at a game mostly though you just need to see the skits and amazing cosplays that got caught on tape, tons of people waving to youtube and such, probably comeing soon to a youtube of or near you! I think made it in there somewhere too, her first cosplay at Anime St. Louis btw, see if she posts pics and if you can figure out who she went as! (its a hard one to figure out unless you already know about the anime/game/manga (i'm not telling!) she is from, thats right folks! Not something so easy to pick out as Naruto or something >.>

To wrap up my weekend though, I will say that next time I go to a con, I want to enter the masquerade no matter what (I kinda talked myself out of it this con so I could make it to the Fate panel). I'm planning something FUN for my next con, may or may not be in A-fest or not, lets see if and can talk me into a con this fall.

Ok, so I'm totally sporadic when I'm online or not any more, I have a wedding in June, got a promo at work, have a broken/fixed/broken again car and other things since I last existed. Little by little however, my cosplay has come along some. So!!! the parts I have DONE are

so OMG thats work to be done. but i've done more in less time I guess. I mostly want to just be done with it and GO already. Winnikyt (i'm so tired I've forgotten how to spell and she's next to me and everything but oh well) anyway, Winykit and I are going as total amateurs and she's on her first cosplay too, so we've been at it hardcore for the past two days. Crossing my fingers, updates more likely to come from Malindachan than myself since I seem to be too busy for DA half the time. Hope to have a pic of myself after Anime St. Louis, Malindachan also has a pic of my nice gloves and gauntlets....lets go beg her to send it to me... >.>

Hm, so candy day has officially ended. I went to a friends house with and as a pirate. I was originally going to go as a pirate with gauntlets but I never did get my gloves for my new cosplay painted. The secret got out to anyway so all that is left to do is beg for an idea on how to make the bottom of the dress. I think we came to a conclusion though, we'll just have to see how that turns out. Cat out of the bag and all, my current cosplay is Saber from Fate/Stay Night in her full armor and the blue dress. I also have a group side cos possible in the works, something more simple and with and another friend that isn't on DA and possibly maybe if she wants to . Also, I've been getting messages that lead me to believe I may not have to walk around alone as Saber. Perhaps with more people I'll be nice and recognizable! That'd be nice.

Now, I know I promised progress pics, but...My camera and my cosplay stuffs are thirty minutes away from each other so....that is going to have to wait on Thursday to roll around. I am driving to s house to work on more/take my pictures already! So within the week I promise at least a couple angles. The most work so far is done on my gloves. They look great, and I can semi move in them! My left hand not so much (for obvious reasons if you've seen her left gauntlet) but my right hand has full mobility, I am trying to pick up small items like papers and pencils but...so who wants to follow me around and open my doors and hold my paper stuffs? Unless I get extremely motivated don't expect any shots of the shoes yet. and I'm thinking about buying enough materials to tackle the side plates, I am saving the chest armor for last. I know how I am going to do it, its just daunting in its details when I think about all I am doing to it. So Thursday I promise.

Last thing I hope. So since my BFF is far far away in the land of Oz where she goes to school, I have to hang out with SOMEONE right? So I had this friend from work that was fun to hang with, and one random day we discovered a mutual interest in cosplay! Weird. Anyway, and finally semi met well, they met on AIM if that counts? btw anyone who wants to pester me I have Trillian thanks to and if anyone wants to bother me its SHill258 on aol and I assume other forms of IM too. (no clue how this stuff works. like I said, new)

So maybe I'll get something done this week, maybe I won't. All I promise is some pics of my finished gloves. Motivation gods, strike me now please.
